The rental price always includes, beside the canoe/kayak, paddles and paddling vests for all paddlers, and spray decks. Dry bags, life vests for children and persons without swimming abilities are available in limited number with no extra charge.
Transportation of equipment 2,5 €/km.
Additional camping gears (tent, sleeping bag, cutlery, gas/spirit stove, etc.) are available in limited amount and for extra charge. Please contact for details.
Discounts
Discounts are personal. The final price is rounded to the closest full Euro. Membership or Discount Cards, proofing eligibility to the discount are to be shown at every time. If requested, you have to prove your identity to Tavinsulka personnel. The owner of the Discount Card may take one canoe/kayak that he/she is one of the paddlers. Discounts can not be combined!

Conditions
When renting a canoe or kayak you undersign that you are paddling on your own responsibility. It is in your own interest that you allways wear your PFD (paddling west) whilst on the water. Tavinsulka personnel in duty are happy to give you technical and safety instructions before launching out.
All our equipment complies with related EU and Finnish safety regulations. They are handled out in pre-checked and in a tidy condition. In case if needed 10 € Cleaning Fee and/or case dependent Repairing Fee applies upon return, excepting where any failure of equipment occurs under normal usage.
We serve you at your convenience, but please consider that the 10 € Service Fee applies when you wish to launch or return in other times than the opening hours of the rental. This does not concern several day package tours.
Due to the higher wear out, when you intend to pass rapids during your trip, the White Water Surcharge should be negotiated before your tour.
Under aged clients must be escorted by a parent, guardian or a canoe instructor. We recommend to youth to contact Meloiloa Canoe Club for Summer activities with fellow youth.
We can accept payments at the service centre in cash only at the moment. Furtherly Smartum Liikunta- and Kulttuuriseteli, and SporttiPassi, provided by Finnish employers, are accepted. Bank transfer in advance is also possible.
Please, let us remind you of the Nordic weather and the real risk of hypothermia in any season. Always have a set of dry cloths with you in a watertight bag, and plenty of food and drink for your trip.
