About the event
Meeting point: 10:00, Naissaari - Guest boat dock (Vaajakoski)
Before departure, basic instructions of paddling techniques and safety issues will be given. You can join the tour even if you have no previous paddling experience. The expert guide is present during the whole tour.
The scenic paddling trip in the northern parts of Lake Päijänne takes about 1.5 hours in both directions. In Kalasaari, we will chop firewood together, heat the sauna, cook food and enjoy them. Rain or shine, the charming 130-year-old summer pavilion guarantees comfort during meals.
The trip ends at approximately 6 pm at the departure point.
Price includes: Equipment; guidance; lunch and sauna
What to bring: Outdoor clothing suitable for the actual weather and sauna equipment for relaxation. For the unlikely event of unwanted capsize, you may bring a full set of spare clothes.
