Jyväsjärvi by Light 2021

The dark evenings in Jyväskylä mean that the city will once again be illuminated with wonderful works of art. Tavisulka is participating in the event this fall as well. With us you can admire the City of Light in a new way from Jyväsjärvi - in a wonderful illuminated canoe. On the shore of Jyväsjärvi there are light works in many different places and you can paddle under the illuminated bridges. The dark lake and the lights bring out the autumn atmosphere in the best possible way.

With a canoe, you can paddle alone or with the whole family. Our staff will guide you in safe kayaking and you will get all the necessary equipment from us. Kayaking with light is suitable for all those who can swim and enjoy the dark autumn evenings. Children can go into the water accompanied by an adult. Participation at your own risk.

Tavinsulka is going to be part of City of Light and with us you will be able to see the city from another perspective - from lighted canoe. This is Jyväsjärvi by Light. From a Canoe you can see all the light art on the beaches of Jyväsjärvi and paddle under the lighted bridges. The dark lake and the lights are the best way to enjoy the atmosphere of fall.

In a Canoe you can paddle in pairs with a whole family of five. Our staff will give you the basic instructions and equipment for safe paddling. This program is suitable for all with swimming ability. Underaged can participate with a guardian or a parent. Participation is at own risk.
