Snow shoe safari in Pyhä-Häkki National Park

Meeting at the Tavinsulka Rowing Center in Tuomiojärvi, at 9 a.m. After the initial briefing and equipment check   we will head towards the Pyhä-Häkki National Park, which will take about an hour and a half. We move at a leisurely pace in the park. The snow cover of winter enables movement even outside the paths, so you can see landscapes that are otherwise beyond the reach of the visitor. A warm field lunch is served at the Kotajärvi loggia, which is enjoyed at the table. 

The participation fee includes guide services, snowshoes, lunch, transportation from JKL to .

We recommend dressing in layers according to the weather and high-top shoes, as well as a small daypack in which you can put a seat pad, your own drink for the time of movement and a change of sweater.

Meeting at Tavinsulka Aquatic Centrum at Tuomiojärvi, at 9am. After the briefing and checking equipment, we depart for the drive to Pyhä-Häkki National Park, where transport lasts about 1.5 hours. The snow cover allows taking off-path routes and seeing scenery, otherwise hidden from the visitors. At the Kotajärvi campfire a delicate lunch will be served. 

Participation fee includes the guide, snowshoe, lunch and transport from/to JKL.

We recommend layered clothing, according to the weather, boots, which cover high the ankle and a day-backpack for seating pad, warm drink for the move and an exchange sweater.
