UNESCO World Heritage Sites
In Finland we are humble people, but we are also proud to be home to 7 UNESCO world Heritage sites. Two of which are located in the Central-Finland region.
Welcome to explore them with us!
Struve Geodetic Arc

Explore the Oravivuori Measuring Tower, which is Finland’s measuring point of Struve's Geodetic Arc.
The Struve Arc was the first large-scale international project, spanning 10 countries, to accurately measure a long meridian arc to determine the size of the Earth.

Petäjävesi and Karikkoselkä

Two unique destinations in Central Finland, combining cultural history and natural beauty.
