About the event

During the event, you can get to know all our equipment, participate in technical clinics, challenges and competitions, as well as sauna, eat and sunbathe to your heart's content! We use kayaks, canoes, SUP boards, Windsurf, a team of SUP boards, and possibly other gadgets that can be found in the caches of our warehouse. 

The price of the daily bracelet is €30.

>SUP Boarding Championship Fitness Seriesanyone can challenge themselves and go after Finland's best. The race distance of about 9-13 km takes about 2 hours for an inexperienced hiker. On Saturday, route information at 1 pm and departure at 2 pm. You can participate in the fitness series with an AquaRaid 2022 wristband.

>Dragon Challengeis a playful SUP competition challenge for teams of four. The team's time can be improved throughout the event. The winning team will be announced at the end of the event on Sunday.

>Saunawarm throughout the weekend.

In addition, with a separate participation fee

>Open water swimming-challenge on Saturday at 12 o'clock. Distances 400m, 1 km,  4 km. Each trip requires at least 10 participants.

All starts and finishes are at Tavinsulka Rowing Center.

400m is the SUP-boarding SM Sprint race course,  200m round trip in front of the Paddling Center.

1 km is from Melonakeskus to Tuomiojärvi beach and 500-500m back.

The 4 km distance is 1 round and goes around the islands opposite the Rowing Center in Tuomiojärvi.

>Windsurf clinicunfortunately we have to cancel due to illness!

>Paddling technique clinicson Saturday at 1 pm and 3 pm, on Sunday at 12 pm and 3 pm.

>Dragon Challengeit is also possible to complete without a daily wristband for a separate fee.

We reserve the right to change the program and schedules.

Arrival:

Tavinsula's address is Taulumäentie 47, 40200 Jyväskylä. The parking lot is the parking lot of the education center Gradia at Taulumäentie 45. Bus no. 22 brings you almost to the gate and JYTAKSI brings you from the center at a fixed price.

In addition, raffle prizes will be distributed among the participants.

  • AquaRaid Day Bracelet

    With the day bracelet, you can test all devices freely throughout the day. The price also includes the sauna, the Dragon Challenge and participation in the fitness series of the SUP SM Games. Handling costs are added to the ticket price. You can also arrive on site and buy a day wristband at the event office.

  • Dragon Challenge

    Gather a group of 4 people and go fight for the Dragon Challenge victory! In the race, 4 people paddle on SUP boards and take measurements of fellow competitors. The participation fee is per team. Processing costs are added to the ticket.

    Open water swimming is enjoyed in the lake. In the event, you swim the distance using the technique you want. A wetsuit is allowed, but flippers, etc. aids are not. We recommend the use of a clear swimming cap and a swimming float, but it is not mandatory. Safety paddles ensure the journey. Processing costs are added to the ticket.
